Purpose and Presence: The 2026 Strategy for the Intentional Mama CEO

Sister, let’s be honest about the juggle.

If your "quiet time" happens in the carpool lane and your best business ideas are scribbled on the back of a grocery receipt, I see you. As a mother of five running a photography studio in Milwaukee, I know that we aren’t just building businesses; we are stewards of a calling. It is a dual mission that requires high-level strategy and a double portion of grace.

As we look toward 2026, I am shifting my focus. Growth isn't just about chasing higher metrics—it is about intentional stewardship of our time, our talents, and the families God has entrusted to us.

Here are three strategic priorities for the woman running a business and a full house.

1. Radical Stewardship: Shifting from Busy to Effective

The world tells us to "hustle harder," but the Spirit whispers, "Be still." Constant busyness is often the enemy of clear vision. When you are managing a household and a growing brand, "busy" can quickly become "burnt out."

The 2026 Strategy: Invest in systems that protect your mental and spiritual bandwidth.

The Plan: Stop viewing delegation as an expense and start seeing it as a sacred investment. Whether it is hiring a virtual assistant or automating your workflow, the goal is to buy back your time. By clearing the administrative clutter, we create the "white space" needed to hear God’s direction for our next big move. For me, that means more time in the studio helping fellow women-owned businesses elevate their professional presence.

2. The Transparent Leader: Showing Up to Serve

As mothers, we often hide behind the camera, waiting for the "perfect" moment to represent our brands. But 2026 is the year of transparency. Your community doesn't want a polished corporate mask; they want to see the woman behind the mission.

The 2026 Strategy: Prioritize a professional headshot that captures your authentic, God-given identity.

The Plan: It is time to step in front of the lens. I know it can feel uncomfortable—even vulnerable—to be the "face" of your brand. But when we are real and transparent about who we are, we encourage other women to do the same. A professional portrait isn't an act of vanity; it is an act of connection. It says, "I am here, I am called, and I am ready to serve."

3. Guarding the Gates: Defining Your "Legacy Hours"

With a house full of little ones, business demands can easily bleed into family dinner. While our businesses are vital, our families are our first ministry. They deserve our presence, not just our proximity.

The 2026 Strategy: Establish firm, professional boundaries that honor the Sabbath and your home.

The Plan: This means setting non-negotiable "Tech-Down" hours or ensuring that your Sabbath is truly dedicated to rest and family joy. By modeling these boundaries, we show our children that our devotion to them outweighs any temporary business gain. We plant our feet in the knowledge that "unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain" (Psalm 127:1).

Let’s Build with Purpose

What is one specific task you are committing to delegate or automate in 2026 to reclaim your focus? More importantly, are you ready to step out from behind the curtain and show the world the face of your business?

I’d love to help you tell that story and capture the heart of what you do. Send me a note with your 2026 goals and...
